The City of Tulsa invites the public to attend an information meeting concerning construction of a street improvement and 12-inch waterline replacement project on South Lewis Avenue between East 31st Street and East 41st Street, and on East 41st Street between Riverside Drive and South Lewis Avenue. Funding for this project has come from the 2005 Bond Issue.

The meeting will be held Monday, April 6, at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Wright Elementary School, 1110 E 45th Pl. Representative from Public Works Engineering Services will show construction plans for the project and answer question. The contractor, Becco Contractors Inc., will be introduced at the meeting.

Construction of this $4.9 million project will begin during the 10 days following April 3. The contractor will begin work on Lewis Avenue between 31st Street and 41st Street, and will complete it in approximately one year. After construction on Lewis Avenue, Construction on 41st Street is schedules for completion in February 2011.
